Contraption Corner, Science World at TELUS World of Science, Vancouver, BC
Contraption Corner was an inventor’s workshop where visitors found out how components like gears, electric circuits, levers and wheels come together to make the gizmos and contraptions we use everyday. Visitors chose from a variety of pre-assembled kits to build a contraption and test their creation. Bold type treatments and dynamic graphic elements were combined with a vibrant colour palette to create an animated space for invention and discovery. Open until 2010.
