Centre of the Universe at the Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics, Dominion Astrophysics Observatory, Victoria, BC
The Centre of the Universe was an interpretive centre created at one of Canada’s premier space science facilities: the Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics, a major research and development laboratory. The Dominion Astrophysics Observatory has fuelled that research for more than 90 years. The Centre housed a multimedia theatre, a 400mm telescope and a small planetarium, as well as both static and interactive exhibits. Open until 2013.
